  • Next NASCAR Series Cup race is in Kentucky, Quaker State 400
  • The 17th race of the season will be held without spectators
  • Past winners like Trueux Jr, Keselowski and Busch are in the favorites
This weekend NASCAR drivers will meet in the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. In the relatively new race Kurt Busch is the defending champion. But his younger brother, Kyle Busch and world cup leader Kevin Harvick are in the favorites according to the NASCAR Quaker State 400 odds beside past winners.  The race will be the 17th event in the season with 7 more races to go until the Championship Play-off. Kevin Harvick has extended his lead to 85 points after winning the last race in Indianapolis ahead of 2nd-place Chase Elliott and 3rd-place Brad Keselowski. Actually Keselowski is the most successful driver on the Quaker State 400 race after winning it on three occasions in 2012, 2014 and 2016. He is also in the favorites for this year, just like other former winners of the event.

NASCAR Quaker State 400 odds favor former winners to perform well again

Online sportsbooks in the US are giving the smallest odds, 6.00 for another former race winner, Martin Trueux Jr. The 2017 NASCAR Cup Series champion won the race twice before, in 2017 and 2018, dominating the races both times. Though last year he only finished in 19th place, his experience can help him to achieve another good result.

Let's race!
Kyle Busch also won here before, a few years ago, in 2011 and 2015. In the previous years, he was close to finishing on top again. But he only managed a 5th, a 4th, and a 2nd-place finish. Last year Kyle put on a great show with his brother, Kurt, when they were head to head in the last lap. After a small mistake from the younger brother, Kurt Busch managed to win the race. It was his first victory in Kentucky. So now Kyle will have the chance to take revenge on his brother, he has the odds of 6.50 at 1xBet to do so.

Current series leader Harvick is also in the favorites

Kevin Harvick is driving superbly this season, and leading the championship confidently. He was the best driver in the last race in Indianapolis as well. Where he got his fourth victory in 2020. Harvick was driving behind Danny Hamlin who was leading the race until 7 laps to go when his right tire blew up. He went into the wall but he could walk away from the crash. Hamlin can try to recover this weekend and get some crucial points. Online gambling sites in the US are giving the odds of 10.00 for his win.  While Harvick could also get his first victory according to the NASCAR Quaker State 400 odds. He has the odds of 7.00 at 1xBet just like his big rival, Brad Keselowski, who is in 3rd-place at the moment in the leader board. We need to mention one more driver, Chase Elliott who is just ahead of Keselowski in the championship. He is also having a great season so far, even though he could only win one race back in May. But he finished in the top 5 five more occasions and in 11th place in the last race. His odds to win now is 11.00.
