PAGCOR’s Strict Offshore Online Gambling Licensing Plans

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) revealed plans to license offshore online gambling. As more and more details are released, it appears that the requirements might be too tough for operators.

There will be some strict restrictions for online casino operators that are applying for offshore online gambling licenses in the Philippines. According to Philippine gambling news, operators will be prohibited to accept players from the Philippines and 99% of Asia. Not even foreign nationals would be allowed to play online casino Philippines PAGCOR states.

Offshore online gambling licensing plans in the Philippines

The license processing fee would cost $50,000 for online casinos and $40,000 for internet sportsbooks. Approved online casino operators will pay $200,000 for a license, while bookmakers will be required to pay $150,000 annually. Live dealer casinos are set to pay $10,000 per table on a monthly basis.
