The poker operator wanted to offer improved game flow and to make the website more user-friendly.

Smoother, uninterrupted game flow, an extended portfolio of 2D and 3D avatars and a fresh poker lobby are just a few of the brand new features added to PKR, the website allows gamblers to play online poker in the UK, as well as in other European countries.

When setting up its new poker client, the operator thought about traditional poker rooms and how hole cards and community cards are displayed, hoping to offer customers an improved and fresh gaming experience.

“Our aim with PKR 3.0 was to make this quite complicated piece of poker software easier to use, though we couldn’t help but add a few design features to keep our visual cutting edge,” the company explained in a statement.

Player feedback helps add better features

Licensed in Alderney as well as under British gambling laws, PKR is just one of the many online operators competing on a growing international gambling market.

Multi-tabling options have been tweaked; the lobby can be set to simple view or classic view; a new section has been added to manage accounts, keep users up to date with bonuses, promotions and tournaments. Other fresh features include a friends section, an avatar shop, a Photo Booth and hand replayed option.

“These are only a few of the changes we’ve made, some visible to you [players], many behind the scenes,” a PKR statement said. “As a direct result of your [player] feedback, countless other changes and improvements – some less ‘sexy’ but important nevertheless – have been added, from table chat and announcement systems to satellite tournament information and beyond.”
