Poker World Mourns the Loss of Popular Card Player Chad Brown

Many gather at Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel to pay their respects to the late Chad Brown, a player that was known as the “nicest guy in poker.”

Many big name players were involved in the Chad Brown Memorial Event which was held at Binion’s Gambling Hall and Hotel in Las Vegas. Robert Mizrachi, Dan Shack-Harris, Victor Ramdin, Greg Mueller, Shawn Buchanan and Jake Cody all showed up to honor the great Brown.

Brown died at the early age of 52, as he was suffering from a form of cancer which took its toll in the worst possible scenario. Todd Brunson, a regular at US poker rooms, decided to take the chance to speak on everyone’s behalf. “In any industry, when somebody dies, everybody will say he was one of the nicest guys. Chad wasn't one of the nicest guys in poker. He was the nicest guy in poker.”

Poker tournament raised thousands for cancer research

Nolan Dalla, a popular poker author, stated, “Is there anybpdy who has had a better 52 years or given more in 52 years than Chad Brown? Chad lived to a 100.” In addition, the event was accompanied by musical talents Vanessa Rousso, Phil Hellmuth and Matt Savage, expressing their sympathies for Brown vocally.

The memorial event was completed with a poker tournament that managed to raise over $71,000, according to gambling news. All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to o cancer research charity called the TJ Marshall Foundation.
