PokerStars Triumphantly Launches Micromillions Championship for the Tenth Time

PokerStars sets to host Micromillions 10 championship with 100 events and $5 million guaranteed – beginning March 19.
Come March 19, PokerStars, the Amaya company, which operates under US gambling laws will kick off its MicroMillions 10 championship. The championship will be host to 100 events and there are $5 million in guaranteed prize money. The event will last until 29. Satellites into a variety of championship events are available now for just $0.11. Players can access the satellites by going to Online Events from the Main Lobby then they just need to click on the MicroMillions tab.
MicroMillions is the world’s most popular tournament series, which has seen more than one million tournament entries for each championship held to date. In previous years, the nine previous MicroMillions championships attracted over 12 million tournament entries. Almost $75 million were awarded to players in prize money. ‘Stygher’ from Hungary won a a record single prize of just over $160, 000, in the MicroMillions 5 Main Event.
Buy-ins for the next series begin at just $0.11 and goes up to $22 for the No Limit Hold’em Main Event, scheduled for March 29 at 14.30 ET. There will be a $1 million guarantee which will certainly delight fans who play online poker in the EU and elsewhere. MicroMillions 10 has quite a line up of tournament formats including Hyper-Active, Bubble Dash, Zoom Turbo, Progressive Super-Knockout, Ante Up and Big Antes.
Top winners in the championship can also win additional prizes for making the MicroMillions Leader Board. 1st place winner will get Free Sunday Million tickets for six months (26 x $215 tickets). Second to ninth place winners will get 5 x $215 Sunday Million tickets. This amounts to $1,075 in value for each player. And not to be left out are the 10th-100th places winners who will walk away with 1 x $215 Sunday Million ticket each.
