This Friday there’s a string of exciting hockey matches to watch and bet on, and we want fans of internet gambling in US to get their money’s worth! Check out our list of predictions and betting odds for November 20 NHL games—featuring odds from GTbets —to find out who we think will be victorious tonight.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Carolina Hurricanes

What a surprise: The Toronto Maple Leafs are no longer one of the worst teams in the league. The boys in blue have been doing surprisingly well as of late, to the shock of NHL hockey betting lines, with their 5-1 home win over the Colorado Avalanche being their fourth victory in five games. They’re now 13th in the league for power play, 23rd for scoring (2.4 gpg), and 19th for goals allowed (2.7 gpg).

Toronto Maple Leafs Carolina Hurricanes

In opposition, the Carolina Hurricanes are in a major slump after having lost a whopping six out of their last seven games. It’s arguable that all their issues lie with their severely lacking offense, which has dragged them down to 28th in the league for scoring (1.9 gpg).

Despite the fact that the Maple Leafs have the better track record right now, we’re going to pick the Hurricanes for our betting odds for November 20 NHL games. Our reasons? Toronto isn’t that great when they’re on the road, and Carolina has won 19 of the last 26 games between the two teams.

Our pick to win: Carolina Hurricanes win 1.74 (37/50)

Los Angeles Kings vs. Detroit Red Wings

With their defeat of the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Kings are now on a three game winning streak, and have won eight of their last ten games. While the Kings have been a little short on goals this season, the team boasts excellent goal tending and great defense, making it little wonder they’ve only allowed 38 goals in 18 games.

The Kings are one of the teams to beat right now, which means Detroit has every right to be nervous as they play them for the first time this season. The Detroit Red Wings themselves have not been doing spectacularly, having just lost against Washington. They need to ramp up their power play, and with the return of Pavel Datsyuk they may do just that.

However, even the Red Wings do improve their game tonight, we’re still going to put our money on the Kings to win. They’re an elite team in fine form, and it would be big US gambling news if they lost this game.

Our pick to win: Los Angeles Kings win 1.83 (83/100)

New Jersey Devils vs. Edmonton Oilers

The New Jersey Devils haven’t been doing great, but they haven’t been doing bad either. There’s been a big improvement in the roster overall, which is a good sign for a team who was picked to finish last or close to last heading into the 2015/16 season. Goalie Having Schneider has been doing particularly well, with a 2.05 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage.

New Jersey Devils vs. Edmonton Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers, on the other hand, have been severely suffering since the loss of their number one overall pick Connor McDavid. They’ve lost their last three games, allowing in an embarrassing four goals in each match. It makes online sportsbooks in US users wonder what’s going on with goalies Anders Nilsson and Cam Talbot, as well as the rest of the team

In short, the Oilers need to learn to function without McDavid or their losing streak is going to continue. The Devils, on the other hand, are proving themselves to be a very underestimated team, and the ones we think you should place your money on in this section of our betting odds for November 20 NHL games.

Our pick to win: New Jersey Devils win 2.00 (1/1)

Chicago Blackhawks vs. Calgary Flames

The Chicago Blackhawks are on their annual six-game circus road trip right now across the West Coast. Things are looking good for the Blackhawks: The elite team’s healthy and in good shape, they recently got defensemen Duncan Keith and Michael Rozival back, and Patrick Cane has become an early contender for the Art Ross Trophy. To make things even better, they’re currently enjoying three game winning streak, and are looking to continue adding to their list of victories.

The Calgary Flames, meanwhile, are a team steadily on the rise. David Jones is scoring left and right, and is starting to develop better chemistry with linemates like Joe Colborne and Matt Stajan. That said, we’re not sure that the Flames’ amount of success and strength can rival that of the Blackhawks right now.

Chicago Blackhawks Calgary Flames

Do we even need to explain it these betting odds for November 20 NHL games? The Blackhawks are going to win tonight. Chicago beat Calgary 4-1 in their last meet up, and hasn’t had a losing circus trip since 2007 to boot. They’re a great team through and through, and it’ll take a roster stronger than that of the Flames to take them down.

Our pick to win: Chicago Blackhawks win 1.67 (67/100)
