Real Madrid Fans Would Bench Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale

Spanish newspaper AS has asked their readers whether or not they would bench any member of the famous ‘BBC’ attack.

One of Spain’s most popular daily newspapers has asked its readers what they think about Real Madrid’s current form. They wanted to know more precisely which formation they would prefer and which players would they rather see on the bench instead of the starting line-up. Online gambling sites in Spain report the unexpected results.

92.1% of the voters would prefer Real Madrid to play in 4-4-2 formation instead of the current 4-3-3. This change would mean that a member of the famous attacking trio of Los Blancos would have to be benched and the voters have stated their will.The majority wants to see Bale as a substitute, while the Ballon d’Or winner received many votes as well.

32.2% of the voters would put top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, but Gareth Bale’s numbers are even higher, 46.1% of the fans would be willing to drop him. According to the polls, the most popular member of the famous BBC is Frenchman Karim Benzema even though he is not the one who scores the most goals.
