From the equally spectacular Brazilian coasts, Italo Ferreira, Gabriel Medina and Filipe Toledo are all at 5.50 odds on Unibet Sportsbook. Ítalo Ferreira (born May 6, 1994) is a Brazilian professional surfer who has competed on the World Surfing League Men's Championship Tour since 2015. Ferreira won the world title in the 2019 World Surf League. He won the "Rookie of The Year" award after his 7th place finishes on the 2015 WSL World Championship Tour. Ferreira’s wins count three 1st places from 2019 at the WSL Championship. The high-flying Brazilian will soon take his high-energy approach to the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympic Games, after provisionally qualifying to represent his country. Gabriel Medina, only one year older than Italo Ferreira has two World Champion titles behind his back. The also Brazilian surfer is the 2014 and 2018 WSL Wolrd Champion. Medina joined the world's elite of the World Surf League Tour in 2011, and in his rookie year, he finished within the top 12 of the ASP World Tour at the age of 17. According to WSL, he is the most popular surfer on the Championship Tour today. With a #2 men’s CT in 2021, the handsome Brazilian is also a national hero thanks to the World Titles he delivered in previous years. The third favourite, Filipe Toledo is a second-generation pro. His father was a two-time national champion.  Filipe himself earned eight Championship Tour victories since his CT debut in 2013. Toledo is ranked #17 on WSL. He might not be the safest choice to win the World Champion. However, his previous achievements definitely grant him trust for a comeback. The Rip Curl 2021 betting odds currently list the three surfers as the top choices, with our pick on Gabriel Medina.
