Make sure to check out all the great encounters that we have prepared for you this week, so you can earn a little extra before the weekend.

• Cesena face Atalanta at home
• Juventus gear up for Fiorentina
• Genoa will play AC Milan away

Last weekend we were able to witness many superb games in Serie A and fortunately for us the next round is already here. On Wednesday evening, 8 teams will go head to head against one another while on Thursday one more match will be played to finish off the round. Italian gambling news reports that AC Milan will square off against Genoa at the San Siro in what looks like an uncertain game.

Cesena will host Atalanta at 20:45 tomorrow and looking at their individual records both sides face uncertainty. Cagliari will play Chievo away from home, but their chances of success are quite limited. Perhaps the only certain game in this batch of encounters is the one between Juventus and Fiorentina, which should see the Turin side clinch an easy win.

AC Milan vs Genoa and Cesena vs Atalanta

Milan Genoa
AC Milan are far from the team that they once were. A decade ago they used to boast some of the finest players in world football and compete for the biggest trophies, while now they sit in the middle of the table in 10th position. By now they managed to only accumulate 43 points from 32 games and their form has seen them record 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss that came in the most recent encounter against Udinese.

Genoa, who are a club with far less history and prominent achievements, are located several places above their upcoming opponents, in 7th spot. While playing on the road they clinched an equal amount of results for every single event, collecting 5 wins, 5 draws and 5 losses. Their form away from home has also been lackluster (2 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss). Bet365 has given them odds of 3.80 (14/5), while a win for the hosts stands at a favorable 1.95 (10/11). A tie between them has been set at 3.60 (13/5).

Cesena Atalanta
Cesena will go head to head with Atalanta at home, but neither side seems capable of pulling off a comfortable win. The hosts are currently facing being relegated to the second league if they don’t come up with an effective solution fast. They currently occupy 19th place after accumulating only 23 points from 32 games so far this season. The form of the club has been quite dire, as they exchanged between 3 losses and 2 draws in the last 5 games.

Online sportsbooks in Italy have given them odds of 2.88 (15/8), while the traveling side have been assigned slightly better chances 2.63 (13/8), thanks to their better standing on the table. Although they are not at the top, Atalanta are not facing imminent danger like Cesena, as they sit in 17th position with 31 points. A draw for the match 3.10 (21/10) is also among the possibilities considering the performance of both sides.

Chievo vs Cagliari and Juventus vs Fiorentina

Chievo Cagliari
Chievo and Cagliari are another set of clubs that will square against one another at 20:45 CET on Wednesday. Both sides find themselves at the bottom half of the table as they don’t possess the necessary players to make a strong push up the chart. Chievo are in 14th place with 37 points from 32 outings this season. At home they recorded a pretty disappointing record (3 wins, 7 draws and 6 losses).

Cagliari are facing much danger in the relegation zone, as they occupy 18th position in Serie A. Up until this point in the season they were only able to clinch 3 wins, 5 draws and 8 losses while playing on the road, so they are not considered to be the favorites for the next match. Their odds have been set at 3.50 (5/2), while a win for the hosts stands at more preferable 2.10 (11/10). A draw 3.50 (5/2) is also a possibility for the encounter.

Juventus Fiorentina
The last game that we’re going to take a look at in this preview is the one between Juventus and Fiorentina. The Turin based side are set to lift their 4th consecutive title and if they manage to win against Fiorentina, and Lazio losses or draws against Parma at home, they could clinch the championship tomorrow night. mobile betting providers have dealt them odds of 1.67 (2/3) to win at home, while a tie between the two sides stands at 3.75 (11/4).

Fiorentina are 6th on the table with a total of 49 points from 32 encounters. Their form over the last 5 games has resulted in 3 losses, 1 draw and 1 win, so they are not viewed as serious challengers. Mobile sports betting sites have assigned them odds of 5.50 (9/2), due to the fact that their away record is poor (7 wins, 4 draws and 5 losses).
