Match fixing in Euroleague Basketball is going to be much harder from now on, due to the mediation of Sport Integrity Monitor.

Online sportsbooks in the EU can offer safer and more credible services now that match fixing in Euroleague Basketball is secured by Sport Integrity Monitor (SportIM). The directory board of the competition will have access to live game databases for more than 35,000 basketball events annually. In addition, experienced integrity analysts and education specialists will also help them.

Eduard Scott, chief operating officer of Euroleague Basketball, has said that they are happy to be able to welcome SportIM experts who are there to help them. Scott added that together they will be able to fight match fixing in Euroleague Basketball. Sport Integrity Monitor’s chief executive Mark Locke is on a similar opinion: he said that they trust the efficiency of their system. Locke added that prevention of corrupted sports betting needs to be started even before it could show up.

SportIM’s aim is to prevent fixed sports betting

Sport Integrity Monitor’s most important goal is that match fixing in Euroleague Basketball as well as in any other league should disappear. Their system seems to be a useful weapon against corrupted sports betting as SportIM employees have more than 15 years of expertise in the gambling industry. In addition, they have also been working together with internet betting operators to have greater insight for what they are dealing with.

SportIM does not only collaborate with Euroleague Basketball, but they have other prestigious partners, including the Scottish Football Association, England’s Football Association (FA) and the English Premier League. Sport Integrity Monitor’s system monitors live games and any kind of anomaly is reported immediately to gambling providers, while the analysts immediately start searching for a reasonable explanation.
