Kombispel domain in Sweden is scheduled to go live using the new BingoFair online gaming platform, Genera Networks AB told the Swedish gambling news.
Swedish lottery firm Kombispel, formerly known as A-Lotterierna, operates the Kombispel domain. The website offers a wide range of online bingo in Sweden, one of the few forms of gambling in the Scandinavian country that is not fully controlled by the state monopoly, Svenska Spel. Besides bingo, a selection of scratch card and interactive lottery titles are also available for the gamers as well as minor games.
With the Swedish gambling laws being favorable to their bingo operation, Kombispel and Genera Networks declared last June that the launch is only “the first step towards a network of regulated operators in multiple jurisdictions”, hoping to expand BingoFair to new customers.
Anders Jansson, Chief Executive Officer for Kombispel stated: “Kombispel is an important project for us. Now we can fight for market shares and reach new players online.”
Rickard Stromberg from Genera Networks said: “We are very proud to partner with an experienced operator like Kombispel.”
Stomberg added: “Based on BingoFair we will build the world’s largest regulated bingo network. This is only the beginning.”
Jan Stocklassa, Chief Executive Officer for Genera Networks said: “BingoFair is a best-of-breed online gaming platform that will only get stronger when more operators join the network. Regulated operators need to cooperate to defeat cross-border competition.”
Genera Networks won last month a public procurement for the rights to provide new lottery products to Norway’s Norsk Tipping AS. The state-owned Norwegian national lottery is expected raise at least €30 million a year for charity. The proceeds go to the nation’s ten largest charity organizations.
