Gambling in Jamaica
The popular Caribbean tourist destination of Jamaica has a complex legal code with regards to gambling, with some forms being legal while others are prohibited. Land-based casinos have been legal for some time but have only been able to legally offer table games since 2010. Casinos can now offer table games but must be located inside hotels offering a minimum of 2,000 rooms.
Online gambling is illegal for Jamaican citizens. However, the government issues licenses for online gambling providers serving overseas customers. In addition, it is reported that many Jamaicans use online gambling sites illegally.

The Jamaican Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Commission issues licenses to online casino providers. However, it is currently illegal for citizens to gamble online. However, many Jamaicans use unlicensed and foreign-operated gambling sites, despite their being illegal.
Domestically-licensed sites can only serve overseas customers. It is reported that there is currently only one gambling site licensed in Jamaica, Poker World.
