The Swiss have always been known for their meticulousness, dedication to top quality service and professionalism. Swiss watches, banks and hotels are the benchmark that other countries attempt to reach.
Each year, a gold and silver medal is awarded to the best of Swiss company in a number of fields including the esteemed quality award.
The Grand Casino Baden won the Esprix silver medal for customer satisfaction. Detlef Brose, Chief of the Grand Casino Baden, said that “participation in Esprix had increased the motivation of the entire casino team. Motivation has never been higher from janitors all the way to senior vice presidents.”
This was the first time that a traditional or Swiss internet casino was nominated.
The award nomination process is extremely complex and multiple attourneys were consulted to make sure that everything was done in accordance with Swiss gambling laws.
Nominated for the Grand Prize, the Quality Award was the Grand Casino Baden and the businesses of SBB Passenger Traffic Inc of Zurich, Switzerland. The quality award was presented during the Forum for Excellence 2011.
It was created in 1998 by the SAQ Swiss Association for Quality and several sponsors. Its aim is to promote excellence in all business areas.
