Nine out of ten people hate her, and it’s no surprise: she whines, she cheats and she is simply… irritating to the point of no return.

Spoiler Alert!
“Shut up, Lori,” is all I used to say whenever Lori started to say something (back when she was still alive, ha.) One thing is for sure: Carl’s mom and Rick’s wife (and Shane’s girlfriend) was so annoying that we’re all happy that she’s gone. I’m usually not happy when a character in my favorite TV show is killed off, but in this case, well, I happily make an exception. I haven’t heard from one person (that’s right, not ONE) that they are sad that she passed. Nobody likes you, Lori.

• Over-dramatizing, irritating
• Shouldn’t be around people
• She should play on slots

Due to this extensive dislike nearly everyone feels for her, I can only say that she should stay at home and surf mobile betting sites or internet casinos. Any gambler at a casino in a sane state of mind would hate her instantly. With Rick’s group, nobody really hated her openly (except for Andrea, who has the same icky personality as Lori.) But one could definitely pick up on small reactions that all pointed towards one thing: she’s irritating as hell! She’s a strong woman, no doubt, but her personality is too hard to cope with. She doesn’t know when to stop nagging or whining about something. Sometimes, she is plain stupid.

So how was this Shane-thing, exactly?

Lori Grimes TWD as zombie

To our great regret this scene was deleted, but enjoy this backstage picture nonetheless

Lori used to be a suburban housewife with an emotionally distanced husband, Rick. Days went by in this grey reality, she kept busy with raising their son, Carl. One day, Rick’s partner, Shane tells her the horrible news: Rick has been shot and is now in a coma. The apocalypse finds her alone with Carl. Shane persuades her to leave for Atlanta with him, because Rick is presumed dead. She packs up her things and Carl, and they embark on the long journey with Shane. She believed that her husband is dead and Shane was there to protect her and Carl, so somehow, they started a secret relationship (so Carl wouldn’t notice, after all, he just lost his dad.)

It is also because of this secrecy that I say she should stay at home and browse mobile casinos, she would feel much better doing that than in a casino full of people. Lori and Shane’s happy little ensemble lasts only until Rick finds them again. Lori then tosses Shane aside and acts like everything’s fine (although we have to hand it to her, she does demonstrate some amount of guilt for her actions…) When she finds out she is pregnant (with no idea as to who the father might be,) she panics a bit: she ponders on whether she should terminate the pregnancy, but in the end she doesn’t. Lucky draw, too, from the standpoint of drama and action in the show, because Judith’s birth is really a showstopper.

Always the dilemma

Lori Grimes pregnant with Carl guns

Poor Carl, you really had a mess for a mother

When she finds out she’s pregnant, Lori unleashes her predicament in her typical irritating style of whining and over-dramatizing everything. She pulls Glenn into this whole mess, too. (Poor Glenn, why does he have to have such a big heart?) She asks him to bring her some morning-after pills on his supply run into a nearby town. Fortunately, since Glenn is a stand-up guy, he also brings her some prenatal vitamins, so she has a choice: keep the baby or terminate the pregnancy. From this follows an inner debate, Lori-style about how bad it would be to bring a baby into this horrible world and how would the baby survive and how would she survive delivering the child… ugh.

Since she blows everything out of proportion, she should keep away from US poker rooms and casinos, because she is unequipped to handle any stress. Especially a card game, where she is put on the spot… she would be flipping out and panic about what to do and what would happen is she did this, or that… she’d be a total pain in everyone’s backside. Furthermore, when playing on gambling apps, she should only play simple games, like slot video games, because I’m not sure she’d be able to play on anything more complicated. Or she would just hand the device over to someone else and make them play for her.
