The Voice is an original US singing competition that started in 2011. Since then, the series has made its way to many countries and helped the carriers of some outstanding singers. Viewers determine the winner with their votes each week in the competition. The series’ success is due to the blind auditions where the coaches select their mentees purely based on their talent and singing performances. The series employs a panel of four coaches who critique the artists’ performances. Coaches guide their teams of selected artists through the remainder of the season. They also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning coach. The official panel of coaches is now out, so it is time to bet on the winning coach at Voice Australia!
The Voice Australia
Voice Australia has been featured in online sportsbooks in Australia due to the success of the series. The original panel featured Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden, Seal, and Keith Urban. The panel for the ninth season featured Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian. Other judges from previous seasons include Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue, will.i.am, Joel & Benji Madden, Jessie J, Ronan Keating, and Joe Jonas. The coaches always attract even more attention and it really matters who takes you on as a performer. On Unibet Sportsbook, the new panel of coaches are already live, making it possible for all of us to bet on the winning coach at Voice Australia! From the previous crew, Guy Sebastian remains and we will see him alongside Keith Urban, Rita Ora, and Jessica Mauboy.
Winning Coach at Voice Australia: Guy Sebastian
Regardless of the new and old faces, Guy Sebastian has the best odds to be the winning coach at Voice Australia according to Unibet Sportsbook. The Australian singer-songwriter is currently at odds 3.25. Guy was the winner at the first Australian idol back in 2003, and since then he judged successfully on many Aussie competitions. A returning member of the Australian X factor judges, Guy moved on to Voice Australia in 2019. In a recent interview, Guy claimed that this year is quite different. His aim is to take the show back to its original roots. Meaning, that Guy’s purpose is to find pure talents, really focus on singing abilities instead of potential superstardom. The coaching panel this year is definitely the strongest-ever lineup.
Jessica Mauboy and Kieth Urban showing the same odds
Both artists are listed at odds 3.50. After becoming a household name on Australian Idol, Jessica Mauboy went on to release 14 Top 30 singles, four platinum-selling albums, win two ARIA awards and even star in a feature film and TV series. Now, we will see Jessica helping other aspiring musicians, as a coach on the brand new season of The Voice Australia. Much like Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy knows what it is like to be in a competition. We expect her to be a great coach for the upcoming talents, having gone through many of these steps herself.
Country superstar Keith Urban is definitely a legendary name. Now based in the US, Keith Urban has a long history in the music industry. Whoever Keith takes on, will have a solid base. Urban has plenty of experience working on competition series. In addition to previously coaching The Voice Australia, he served as a judge on American Idol for four seasons and was Blake Shelton‘s team advisor on the U.S. version of The Voice during Season 15. Keith might focus on one genre, country-singers can expect the best from him.
International pop sensation Rita Ora as a winning coach
It is quite exciting for Rita to join the panel of coaches, making her first appearance at Voice Australia. Unibet Sportsbook gives her 3.75 odds to be the winning coach at Voice Australia, but it is still early days. Understandably, we don’t yet know how Rita will operate in the new crew. However, having been a coach in the UK for several seasons Rita will surely deliver. The question is whether she will earn the liking and trust of Australian viewers and musicians.
