In fact, it is defined as incorporating Christmas, and usually New Year, and sometimes various other holidays and festivals … so much for the facts.
But the holiday season is also the time to come up with some weird fun stuff, so that you and I have something to impress others with at the dinner table. Or, that some regions in Peru celebrate Christmas Day by dancing and fist-fighting?

The top 3 players win satellite tickets. The tournament will take place from December 1st to 23rd. Also, note that the start time is daily at 8:30 am ET(CET: 2:30 pm). The late reg: 30 min.
Also, note that the top 3 placed players get automatically registered to the weekly running $10,000 GTD Sunday Sundowner satellite special, running only Fridays, from December 4th to 25th!
Poker Road to Christmas
Texas Hold’em NL – $600 GTD*
The tournamet will run from December 1st to 23rd. In detail, the start time is 2:30 pm & 8:30 pm ET (CET: 8:30 pm & 2:30 am). Also, note that buy-in + fee is $9+$0.90. The late reg: 60 min.
Also, the top 2 placed players receive a free ticket for the XMAS Day $3,000 GTD final, played on December 25th!
XMAS Day satellites R&A
THe tournamet will run from December 21st to 25th. In detail, starts 6 times per day: 8:10 am / 11:10 am / 2:10 pm / 5:10 pm / 8:10 pm / 11:10 pm (all times in Eastern) (CET: 2:10 pm / 5:10 pm / 8:10 pm / 11:10 pm / 2:10 am / 5:10 am).
Also, note that buy-in + fee: $3+$0.30. And the late reg: 60 min.
XMAS Day $3,000 GTD
The tournament will take place on Friday, December 25th. In detail, the start time is 5:10 pm ET(CET: 11:10 pm). Also, the buy-in + fee: $35+$3.50. And, note that late reg: 90 min.
Boxing Day GOLD CHIP satellites
So, the tournament will take place on December 25th & 26th. In detail, it start times are 8:05 am / 12:05 pm / 2:05 pm ET(CET: 2:05 pm / 6:05 pm / 8:05 pm). Also, note that the buy-in: 15 Gold Chips. The late reg: 60 min.
Boxing Day $1,500 GTD Big Stack
The tournament will take place on Saturday, December 26th. In detail, it starts at 5:15 pm ET(CET: 11:05 pm). Specifically, the buy-in + fee is $20+$2. Also, the late reg is 90 min. 25,000 starting chips / 3 min blinds.
New Year’s Day satellites
The tournamet will run from December 28th to January 1st. In detail, it starts 6 times per day: 8:10 am / 11:10 am / 2:10 pm / 5:10 pm / 8:10 pm / 11:10 pm (all times in Eastern) (CET: 2:10 pm / 5:10 pm / 8:10 pm / 11:10 pm / 2:10 am / 5:10 am). New Year’s Day $2,500 GTD
The tournament will take place on January 1st at 5:10 pm Eastern(CET: 11:10 pm). In detail, the buy-in + fee: $28+$2.80. The late reg: 90 min.
