Gambling in Liechtenstein
Gambling in Liechtenstein was banned until 2010. The ban ended in 2011 with a gambling law allowing some gambling activities on the market. However, the law still restricted the number of casino concessions to one alone. The new amendment made in April 2016 and on force since October 2016, aims at replacing the concession system with a license approval system. As of March 2017, there are two big casinos interested in entering the gambling sector of the country, Casino Austria and Casino BadRagaz.
