The bodies responsible for regulation of the land-based gambling activities in the country are the State Commission for Casinos (
Comisión Nacional de Casinos Salas de Bingo y Máquinas Traganíqueles- CNC) and the State Commission for Lottery (
Comisión Nacional de Loteria-Conalot). According to
Venezuelan gambling laws, licenses for providing any of the gambling games supervised by the CNC can be obtained by the same body. Minors, under 18 years of age are prohibited to participate in gambling activities.
