F1 Gambling Has Never Been So Interesting As In Baku

It's hard to watch F1 gambling any but the top teams will win but at a track they've only used once before in very warm temperatures the reliability issues of all the cars is going to be a factor and that could produce some very interesting results, but if you are going to back one of the boys in fire proof underwear and romper suits this weekend at Bet365 just who should you put your money on?

Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2017

• Sergio Perez – 200/1
• Max Verstappen – 50/1
• Daniel Ricciardo – 50/1
• Kimi Raikkonen – 12/1
• Valtteri Bottas – 5/1
• Sebastian Vettel – 7/4
• Lewis Hamilton – 5/6
It must be quite galling for Nico Rosberg sat at home watching this year's Formula One Grand Prix season unfold in a far more interesting manner than when his perpetual petulance pervaded the paddock. Gone is the moody inter-Mercedes rivalry to be replaced with what could generously called actual racing as Ferrari mount a challenge to the German supremacy, however it is still just two teams of many, and the rest are way off the pace with even Red Bull struggling to keep up with the top tier.

Sebastian Vettel currently sits 12 points clear at the top of the World Championship table, but Lewis Hamilton put in a perfect drive in Canada and the 6km long Azerbaijan street circuit could be said to favor the Mercedes. Last year it was Rosberg that took the victory and Hamilton only managed fifth, with Vettel taking second, so if you're planning to back Hamilton at Bet365 and watch the F1 gambling the Mercedes will definitely win you might not want to bet on sports in Azerbaijan this weekend.

Ferrari Form Makes F1 Gambling Great Again

Of course if you like F1 gambling you'll know it wasn't just Hamilton sliding out of contention that surprised last year. Sergio Perez of Force India took his second third place podium position of the 2016 season in Baku, although Bet365 only give him a 9/1 chance of repeating the feat this year despite him putting in the fastest lap of Monaco. His chances of actually winning on the streets of the Azerbaijan capital? 200/1, which perhaps alarmingly doesn't even make him a rank outsider at the online bookies.

For true long-shot silliness one has to delve down to the likes of Pascal Wehrlein and Marcus Ericsson who are both rated at having a 4000/1 shot of a win at Bet365, and even the likes of Daniel Riciardo and Max Verstappen are a little slighted, the pair of Red Bull cars getting just 50/1 to win, with 10/3 of either of them reaching even a podium place. No one doing any F1 gambling this weekend, perhaps circumventing Azerbaijani gambling laws in the process, gives them a hope in hell, frankly, because they don't have one.

Who'll Win In Baku? Bet365 Has All The Odds.

F1 World Championship 2017

• Lewis Hamilton – 10/11
• Sebastian Vettel – 10/11
• Valtteri Bottas – 40/1
• Kimi Raikkonen – 150/1
• Max Verstappen – 500/1
• Daniel Ricciardo – 500/1
Lewis Hamilton is Evens to win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with Sebastian Vettel at just 2/1 (although if you look hard enough you can find an tighter 5/6 vs 15/8 showing up at some online bookmakers like Bet365) and that highlights just what a toss up this race could become. Only the second time its been run the drivers are still getting used to the track's little foibles and anyone that drives F1 gambling it'll be just the same as last year is probably setting themselves up for a bit of a disappointment really.

Of course whilst Hamilton and Vettel duel away for the top two spots in their Mercedes and Ferrari colours just behind them are their team mates, Kimi Raikkonen (12/1 to win) and Valtteri Bottas (5/1), both constantly looking to be the third man on the riser when the champagne comes out. The two Finns are 20 points apart in the table and I doubt it'll make Azerbaijani gambling news headlines when I say the two don't really seem to get on, they just manage to do it without behaving like a pair of complete Rosbergs.
