Russia has recently announced its contestant along with the song for the ESC. It resulted in Russia's Eurovision 2021 odds being seriously affected at bookmakers. Russian Woman is a hymn to feminism celebrating women’s transformation into strong and independent ladies. Despite the hot-topic theme and unusual song style, people criticized Manizha’s performance on Russian social media. The viewers called the televoting fake as it happened "too quickly" and predicted Russian Woman to take one of the last places on ESC.
