  • 2020 ATP Finals is held next week, 15-22 November in London
  • Top eight singles players and doubles pairs will compete
  • Novak Djokovic is the favorite, he can win his 6th Finals title
The top eight men tennis players will meet next week in London, in the 2020 ATP Finals. Stefanos Tsitsipas won the season-ending event last year for everyone’s surprise and he will be there this time too. But in the 2020 ATP Finals betting predictions Novak Djokovic is the favorite again. Let’s see his and the others’ odds.  This will be the 51st edition of the ATP Finals where the top eight singles players and doubles pairs compete every year at the end of the season. After the Grand Slams this is the highest-ranked tournament of the ATP season, where only the best players can take part. Roger Federer has won it the most times, six occasions. He won’t play in this year’s event though due to injury. The Finals has been held in London since 2009. But this will be the last time when the O2 hosts it. Sadly without viewers but still with much attention from the fans. The eight players will be divided into two groups and play in a round-robin format. The first two players from each group will continue in the semi-finals, while the winners of them will play in the final next Sunday.

Novak Djokovic has already won the ATP Finals five times but his last victory is back from  2015. Since then he reached the final on two more occasions but lost it both times. This season the Serbian star played in great form though he could only win the Australian Open from the Grand Slams. But he added more Masters 1000 titles to his achievements, winning his 36th title in Rome. With his latest victories he  broke the record held by Rafael Nadal before. He is leading the world ranking so no surprise that online sportsbooks in the UK offer the smallest odds, 2.25 for his win. But of course Djokovic won’t have an easy job in a strong field including his biggest rival, Rafael Nadal. The Spanish has already beaten him this year in the final of the 2020 French Open and can do it again. True though that Nadal doesn’t perform his best on indoor hard courts. And he has never won the Finals yet. He got to the final twice before, in 2010 and 2013 but was defeated by Federer and Djokovic in them. Thanks to his 20th Grand Slam title Nadal is second in the world ranking now, and can try to finally win this event. He has the odds of 6.00 to do so on 888sport.

New generation stars can surprise again

But the other six players can also win the event as two of them have already managed to do it. Alexander Zverev became the winner in 2018. He has the odds of 8.00 to win again in the 2020 ATP Finals betting predictions. The German got to the semi-finals in the Australian Open and to the final of the US Open, which was his first major final. Even though he lost there against Dominic Thiem, Zverev won two ATP Tour events in October. After beating Nadal in the semi-finals of the Paris Masters, he will arrive in great form. Only Daniil Medvedev will be in a better one after winning the last Masters 1000 event last week. Online gambling sites in the UK consider him as another favorite with the odds of 6.00. The Russian player reached the semi-finals of the 2020 US Open but lost there against Dominic Thiem. After that he didn’t perform too well. He lost all his games on clay and indoor too until his latest success in Paris. While last year’s finalists, Dominic Thiem and Stefanos Tsitsipas might reach the final again. After winning his first GS title in the US Open the Austrian has the better chance with the odds of 9.00.
