The 2021 MotoGP season continues in Silverstone this weekend after the double-header in Austria. Fabio Quartararo still leads the championship and he is the top favorite in the 2021 MotoGP British race predictions as well. But it won’t be an easy ride for the French with all of his rivals aiming for victory.

The MotoGP circuit returns to Silverstone after a year’s break due to the cancellation of last year’s race. The record-winner of the circuit, 9-time world champion Valentino Rossi will ride on his last British GP this year. The Doctor won here on 8 occasions, while his successor, Marc Marquez won the British GP three times so far. But the top favorite to get the win this time is the possible next big champion,  French Fabio Quartararo. He currently leads the world championship 47 points ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Joan Mir. British fans will hope for good results from local favorites. From Cal Crutchlow who replaced Maverick Vinales at Yamaha after the team ended the Spanish rider’s contract. While Jake Dixon will make his MotoGP debut in the place of still recovering Franco Morbidelli at Yamaha.

Quartararo leads the odds in the 2021 MotoGP British Race Predictions

Fabio Quartararo has won four races this season and finished outside of the top 10 only once. His balanced and impressive performance can continue in Silverstone. Where his best result is a fourth-place finish from Moto3 back in 2015. Since then he had to retire on most occasions so it seems like the British circuit is not his strongest point. Still, online sportsbooks in the UK favor him to win this weekend with the odds of 2.37. Based on his current form, the Yamaha rider can do well on the track where his team has won four times in the last 10 years.

The 2021 MotoGP British race predictions mention Francesco Bagnaia as Quartararo’s main rival. The Italian is currently in second place in the overall standings, level on points with the defending world champion, Joan Mir. Bagnaia finished second in the last race in Austria which was his fourth podium finish in the season. So, have your already chosen your driver? Now the Ducati rider will aim for the victory in order to get closer to the championship leader. His odds to get his first MotoGP win are 5.50. The other chaser, Mir, can also finish on top with Suzuki. The team has been performing strongly here and got two victories in the last five years. The Spanish rider’s odds to follow his compatriots, Alex Rins and Maverick Vinales with another win are 8.00.

2021 MotoGP British Race Predictions: Marquez Can Get Back to Winning in Silverstone

Marc Marquez hasn’t really got back to his pre-accident level since his return to racing this April. The 7-time world champion has only won one race so far and had to retire on three occasions. The Honda rider didn’t have good weekends in Austria either after finishing only in 8th and 15th places. Now Marquez can try to achieve a much better result in Silverstone where he won the race in 2014.  Online gambling sites in the UK offer the odds of 7.00 for his victory.

The winners of the last two races, Brad Binder and Jorge Martin, will ride on their first British GP in this category. KTM rider Binder got a surprise victory in Austria and moved to 6th place in the championship. The South African rider won in Silverstone in 2016 in Moto3, but it might be a tall order for him to win in the top category. As shown by the odds of 26.00. Ducati rider Jorge Martin is in a similar position. He won the first Austrian race and finished third in the second. But he hasn’t competed in Silverstone in this category before. The young Spanish got his first win in Austria and has the odds of 9.50 now to get his next one this weekend.
