The 2021 MotoGP season continues this weekend at Sachenring in Germany with the 8th race of the year. Fabio Quartararo leads the championship and he is the top favorite in the 2021 MotoGP German race predictions. But 10-time German GP winner Marc Marquez and other top riders can get the win here as well.
The first German motorcycle race was held in 1925. And the event has been part of the world championship since 1952. Hockenheim and Nurburgring have both hosted the race in the previous years. While the current location, Sachenring has been organizing the event since 1998. The track’s tight corners make it one of the slowest tracks on the calendar but it still offers enough opportunities to overtake for the riders. Legendary Italian rider Giacomo Agostini got the most wins in the history of the race with 13. But Marc Marquez has also won the German Grand Prix 10 times including seven wins in the top category. Now the Spanish champion might get his first victory of the season at the track where he was the winner in the previous 7 occasions. But top riders of this season’s championship will also go for the victory with the lead of Quartararo.
2021 MotoGP German race predictions expect Quartararo’s win
French Fabio Quartararo currently leads this year’s championship 14 points ahead of his compatriot, Johann Zarco. The Yamaha rider won three races in the season. And he was close to another victory two weeks ago in Barcelona. But after receiving two penalties Quartararo only finished in 6th place. Now surely he wants to get back to winning. And it looks like he has the pace to get it. Online sportsbooks in Germany offer the smallest odds, 3.34 for his victory.
Marc Marquez has won seven races in a row at Sachenring which might be a good sign ahead of the race. Even though the 6-time MotoGP champion hasn’t found his form yet since his return from the injury. Marquez had to retire in his last three races and only stands in 18th place with 16 points. Now he will have another chance to get back to winning, but only if he is 100% healthy. The Honda rider’s odds to get his 11th victory here is 6.00 according to the 2021 MotoGP German race predictions.
Oliveira, Zarco and Rins are also in the favorites
The winner of the previous race in Barcelona, KTM rider Miguel Oliveira is also mentioned in the favorites with the odds of 7.00. The Portuguese also finished second in the Italian race and moved to 7th place in the standings. He also got a second-place finish from this track as a Moto2 rider from 2017. So based on his current form Oliveira can get another great result in Germany.
Just like Ducati rider Johann Zarco, who was the runner-up in the Catalan race. This was his fourth podium finish of the season. Zarco are only 14 points behind Quartararo, in 2nd place in the championship. So surely he will give everything to win this race. Online gambling sites in Germany offer the odds of 10.00 for his victory. Meanwhile Suzuki rider Alex Rins will make his return at this race following his bike accident in Barcelona. He hasn’t had the best season so far after retiring on three races so far. But Rins has already won here back in 2013 in Moto3. Now his odds to do it again is also 10.00 on 22Bet.
