Riders of the 2022 MotoGP season head to Australia this weekend, where one of the most demanding tracks, the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit waits for them. The Australian race returns to the calendar after a two-year break, making the 2019 winner, Marc Marquez the defending champion. The 6-time world champion will race again and aim for a podium finish. Just like the current leader of this year’s championship, Fabio Quartararo who has been struggling in recent weeks. It also meant that his main rivals, Francesco Bagnaia and Aleix Espargaro could get close to him. But Enea Bastianini and Jack Miller also still have a chance of winning the title.  2022 MotoGP Australian race odds

Bagnaia Is the Top Favorite In the 2022 MotoGP Australian Race Odds Ahead of Miller

Francesco Bagnaia, the runner-up of the 2021 MotoGP season is only two points behind the leader, Fabio Quartararo in this year’s championship. The Ducati rider managed to overturn a 91-point deficit with his great performance since the summer break. He won four races in a row and finished on the podium on two more occasions. Without his crash in Japan, he could be leading the overall standings now. But he is still with a huge chance of winning his first MotoGP world title. Bagnaia needs to perform well first in Australia where he finished fourth in 2019. Now online sportsbooks in Italy offer the smallest odds, 3.50 for his win.  The 2022 MotoGP Australian race odds mention next his teammate, Jack Miller who is also in top form. The Aussie won the race in Japan and finished second in the last race in Thailand. Miller will ride the factory Ducati for the first time on home soil, in front of enthusiastic Australian fans. He has won here once before, in 2014 when he was competing in the Moto3 category. While his best result in the top level has been a third-place finish in the previous race here, three years ago. Miller’s odds to win now are 5.00. The same odds are offered for the victory of the 2019 race winner, Marc Marquez. The Spanish legend is still getting back to his best form after his arm surgery. But he rode well in the last two races and finished 4th and 5th places.

The championship leader will also fight for victory

Fabio Quartararo is under a lot of pressure lately after crashing out in the Aragon Grand Prix. In spite of his balanced performance at most of the season, his last three races didn’t go well. His lead is only two points now to Bagnaia, but even Miller is only 40 points behind him. The defending champion must ride well now if he wants to win the title again. The track suits Yamaha and it can be a perfect place to strengthen his lead. Even though the Frenchman hasn’t got too much success here before. Online gambling sites in Italy offer the odds of 8.00 for Quartararo’s fourth win in the season.  2022 MotoGP Australian race odds But other title contenders, Aleix Espargaro and Enea Bastianini follow him closely with odds of 8.50. Espargaro is currently in third place, 20 points behind the leader. The 33-year-old Aprilia rider is having the best season of his career. But like Quartararo, his last two races weren’t great after he only finished in 16th and 11th places. While Bastianini got his fourth win in the season in Spain and moved closer to the championship podium. The 2020 Moto2 champion hasn’t got the best results from Philly Island but can do much better now. Maverick Vinales has a much better track record after winning in Australia twice before. The Aprilia rider hasn’t had the best season and stands only in 10th place in the championship. But he can prove his skills again at one of his strongest tracks. With an odds of 15.00 on 22Bet to win again.
