Juve’s one of the world best left-backs, Alex Sandro, has made it clear that he wants to leave the Allianz and move to the Premier League. But is it realistic to place a bet on Alex Sandro to leave Juventus in the January window?

According to online sportsbooks in the UK the Brazilian national has been tracked by both Man Utd and Chelsea over the last 12 months, and Juventus have admitted that he is free to leave if a club meets their €60 m valuation. Several online sportsbook news have even linked him to the January transfer window. But it is not advisable to bet on Alex Sandro to leave Juventus anytime soon, because he remains Juve’s regular starter, and he is still perceived as overvalued by the Premier League clubs.

The Red Devils have cooled their interest

United’s interest to sign in a left-back peaked towards the start of this campaign when Jose Mourinho peeved at both Luke Shaw and Ashley Young for their attitude and poor fitness. The both players’ contracts expire at the end of this season. So a world-class replacement was on top of United’s shopping list, and Mourinho was monitoring a number of left-backs, including Tottenham’s Danny Rose, Celtic youngster Kieran Tierney, and Juve’s defender Alex Sandro.

According to online sportsbooks in the UK Mourinho has simply abandoned his plan, because Luke Shaw successfully rebuilt the trust with his boss. Shaw has started seven of United’s last eight matches showing that he can be the club’s left-back for years to come.

Chelsea are not ready to pay a lot

The 26-year-old Brazil national is contracted to Juve until 2020 and remains a regular starter in coach Massimiliano Allegri’s side. Although the Old Lady have indicated that they will not stand in Sandro’s way, they are still sitting tight and not letting him go without a lucrative deal.

Chelsea have previously tried to sign Alex Sandro, but they have found Juventus to be reluctant sellers for a low price. The Blues will have to make the Brazilian the second biggest signing in their history, but there have been no signs whatsoever according to online sportsbook news that the Blues are ready to pay a lot.
