It has been confirmed that the fans will not see the return of Tom Cruise to the American action thriller Jack Reacher. Thus, a replacement is on the hunt, especially that a new Television series is about to be produced in 2020. We think one of four actors deserve your attention before you place a bet on the next Jack Reacher. Jack Reacher’s franchise based on Lee Child’s novels came out in two installments Jack Reacher in 2012, and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back in 2016. The two films received mixed reviews and were not so successful domestically at the box office. Thus, online sportsbook news in the United States reported that there will be no third film. However, there will be a Television series aired some time at the end of 2020. The story is about an ex-military man, a former major who left the US Army’s military police at the age of 36. He roams the country, taking odd jobs when he needs to deal with justice, usually in very dangerous situations. The character has no job and no home. So, his stories can be about anything and take place anywhere. The makers for television, including Lee Child, are currently searching for an actor that would fit the physical description. In the books Reacher is a formidable man, measuring up at 6 feet 5 inches, blonde and weighing in at 250 pounds. Lots of actors will be happy to take the role. However, if you wish to place a bet on the next Jack Reacher, consider John Krasinski, Sullivan Stapelton, Dwayne Johnson, or Matthew McConaughey.

John Krasinski had a steep rise for his action roles

John Krasinski rose to fame in the US version of The Office. He has taken some interesting action roles recently including 13 Hours. The film tells the story American soldiers tasked to protecting diplomatic compounds in Libya from concurrent waves of terrorist attacks. He also directed and starred in the horror movie A Quiet Place that was one of the best movies of 2018. The actor is 6 feet 3 inches, so he almost fits the physical description. Not to mention his experience as former Marine Jack Ryan in the TV adaptation based on Tom Clancy’s novels. Sullivan Stapleton fits better the physical description

He started shinning in Hollywood but of course not as John Krasinski. The 42-year-old Stapleton is best known for his role in the British-American series Strike Back. He played the lead role as Themistocles in the film 300: Rise of an Empire. We think he might be available for the Jack Reacher role with 4.5 odds.

Dwayne Johnson is an obvious choice for any action role

The wrestling champion is at 6 feet 4 inches and weighs in 260-pound. He seems like one of the obvious choices whenever someone is needed to play a beefy character. We all remember his role as Hercules the son of Zeus in 2014. Not to mention some of his recent action roles in GI Joe: Retaliation and Fast and Furious 6. The makers for the Television series will be certainly aiming to get Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in. His odds value 21 at online sportsbooks in the United States. Mattew McConaughey can make an extreme transformation

One of the most attractive actors in Hollywood Mattew McConaughey is a great option for Jack Reacher. His odds are 11.
