Bwin takes advantage of the latest technology and launches mobile betting app for Android devices and iPhone

The latest advances in mobile technology offer limitless possibilities to online gambling operators. Mobile casinos in Germany and across Europe flourish with more and more operators offering mobile gaming possibilities to their clients.

One of the most recognized online sportsbooks in Germany and worldwide, Bwin, decided it was high time to introduce its version of mobile betting. The launch of a universal sports betting application for Android based devices and for the iPhone marks the start of a new era for Bwin.

The new Sports app from Bwin will offer live betting combined with live scoring. Single and multi-bet pre-event betting propositions will also be available to punters. Bettors will be able to choose from the entire Bwin betting portfolio, which consists of football, Formula 1, tennis, American football, Ice Hockey, Winter Sports and much more.

Berthold Kao, Head of mobile products at Bwin, told Germany gambling news: “The Bwin live betting app has been a major success due to its simplicity. Our customers love the product. That’s why we decided to double the possibilities by combining pre-event betting and live betting into one single app called Bwin Sports.”

Bwin operates in full compliance with German gambling laws and is present on a number of European and global markets. Bwin members will enjoy full access to their account information and the “my bets” section that reveals all current and historic bets through a secure internet connection.

Bwin Sports app for Android will be available to all Bwin members. iPhone app will become available in the iTunes Store and will be limited to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
