A joint venture between At The Races and Racing UK, GBI Racing, was created back in 2010. The company now provides horse racing betting services in United Kingdom and worldwide.
In a recent move, GBI Racing signed two agreements, making its services available in both Canada and Denmark. The deal with Danske Spil, a state monopoly operating under Danish gambling laws, will also allow the gambling operator to broaden its offerings beyond the country’s market.
As for Canada – GBI Racing secured an agreement with Woodbine Entertainment Group. The operator will now be able to offer all GBI races at its own racetracks and also broadcast the GBI Racing channel content on its proprietary Horse Player Interactive TV. This will allow GBI’s TV channel to be seen in more than 40 countries worldwide.
GBI Racing is essentially a media and TV broadcast service offering live racing content, information, data and promotions to various bookmakers. With recent Danish change in regulations, punters can now bet on sports in Denmark freely, and horseracing is growing in popularity in the country.
According to Denmark gambling news GBI Racing offers live coverage with the use of multi-camera equipment from all sixty UK racecourses, twenty six Irish courses as well as broadcasts from premier showcase events in Britain and Ireland.
GBI’s coverage spreads over 1,800 annual fixtures, includes daily coverage with full graphics and audio presentation. The TV content of GBI is available to retail outlets in the form of a satellite broadcast and tote and fixed odds betting jurisdictions around the globe.
