The Democrats held another round of debates and watched as their candidates sank their teeth into each other and exposed the real divides in the party. The older moderates found themselves under siege from younger more idealistic candidates and when the dust settled the Democratic Candidate 2020 odds on Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren all looked slightly dwarfed on Bovada, one of the best online betting sites in the US, by the scale of the task ahead.

The second round of debates saw the challengers to Donald Trump line up and say their piece, mixing jabs at the President with slashes at those stood alongside them. The Democratic candidate odds on Joe Biden may just have him favorite at the moment, but by no means in as commanding a position as he was beforehand.

  • Anyone Else – 100/1+
  • Hillary Clinton – 50/1
  • Beto ORourke – 40/1
  • Cory Booker – 40/1
  • Tulsi Gabbard – 28/1
  • Andrew Yang – 22/1
  • Pete Buttigieg – 8/1
  • Bernie Sanders 5/1
  • Kamala Harris – 11/4
  • Elizabeth Warren – 3/1
  • Joe Biden – 5/2

He fluffed his closing statement, patronized Kamala Harris before they’d even started, and was savaged by Cory Booker for selectively citing President Obama when it suiting his needs. Indeed the Democratic candidate 2020 odds on Joe Biden holding at around 5/2 is probably as good as he could have hoped for given how lightweight he looked. Those who’ll augment their usual bet on sports in the US with a wager on which democrat will get the gig may want to keep looking.

Kamala Harris Hangs In After 2nd 20-Candidate Bunfight

Joe appeared old, if we’re honest, and whilst Elizabeth Warren is still at around 3/1 to be taking on Donald Trump that’s a fair way behind those Democratic candidate 2020 odds on Joe Biden, and she did so much better than he in the debates. She has the same problem he does. Age. Nothing had made them look older and less healthy than being stood next to the likes of Pete Buttigieg. Bernie might know his stuff, but it’s easy fodder for the Republican propagandists.

It takes a lot to make President Trump look young, energetic and healthy, but the trio of Warren, Sanders and Biden do it effortlessly and the Republicans will not shy away from pointing out just how senior these senior figures are. Take advantage of US gambling laws to back any of these three to win the Presidency and you’re on a hiding to nothing, but at 5/1 Bernie Sanders is a better wager than the Democratic candidate odds on Joe Biden right now.

Of course all hopes lie with Kamala Harris who is hovering at 11/4 after the 2nd debate, a price that is closing up on those Democratic candidate 2020 odds on Joe Biden. However, she’s always fighting an uphill battle and with the Republicans now standing squarely behind the President and salivating over the chance to go up against a candidate of color the democrats may shy away from this most sensible of choices.

With gerrymandering and voter suppression in overdrive and Donald Trump attempting to divide the US along as many lines as he can find the Democratic candidate 2020 odds on Joe Biden and the rest might not mean much. Trump is still 10/11 to retain the White House. However if you want to make a bit of a score at Bovada, one of the best online sportsbook sites in the US today, then pick one of the three senior candidates.
