Delaware online gambling figures

Delaware online gambling figures show revenues of $184,898 for November. Although it’s not equal to the year high of $240,762 for April, the figures are still well-received.

Delaware Lottery Statistics from November show that online gambling revenues reached $184,898, U.S gambling news. Although the revenues went up 42 percent from October, the peak month for 2014 was April. The results came from three Delaware-registered online gambling sites reported revenue of $240,762.

Online poker looked promising as figures went up 15 percent reaching $32,814 for October. This isn’t surprising since national online poker player numbers are up. All of the major sites are reporting a slight upswing because of the PokerStars’ December Festival.

New Player Sign-ups Down

Despite the higher revenue figures, Delaware still saw low numbers of new player sign-ups in Delaware. With only 308 player sign-ups, November saw the lowest numbers since online gambling in Delaware was legalized in November 2013.

Perhaps inspections could be a bit high considering Delaware’s population is less than 900,000 people. Delaware may not be capable of providing widespread options that many internet gamers have been accustomed to.

Regulatory implications within U.S. gambling laws are in the works involving sharing agreement between Delaware and Nevada. Officials are hopeful that the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), signed by both states last February, will improve sign-up numbers.
