One of the greatest aspects about friendly international matches is that many great sides have a chance to go head to head with and provide us fans with superb football. At times we are able to see pairings that have never taken place before, which offer unique and interesting football considering the vast difference between the sides in question.

Panama and Costa Rica set for a great game
China will defend itself against Tunisia at home
Japan favorites against Uzbekistan

Panama will clash with Costa Rica at 02:00 CET on Tuesday in a match that should probably see the later side clinch an easy win considering their far better standing. Cuba will visit Jamaica where they are set to experience a difficult test, while China will square off against Tunisia, according to Chinese gambling news. And lastly, Japan will play against Uzbekistan at home where they will have the upper hand during the match.

Panama vs Costa Rica and Jamaica vs Cuba

At the moment, Panama occupy 61st place on the FIFA World Rankings with an overall of 557 points. They haven’t changed their position much on the table as they weren’t given much playing time in recent months, but also when they did play they put on average performances. Bet365 has set their odds against Costa Rica at 2.50 (7/5), however they should be been underdogs for this match as the latter team as much better.

Panama vs Costa Rica

Costa Rica has turned quite a few eyes during last year’s World Cup where they finished top of Group D, ahead of Uruguay, Italy and even England. After that they beat Greece 5:3 on penalties in the round of 16, however they lost against the might Dutch in a tight 4:3 penalty shoot-out. For the upcoming game against Panama they have been given underdog chances 2.75 (9/5), while a draw between them stands at an unlikely 3.30 (23/10).

Jamaica and Cuba will square off against one another at 03:00 CET on Tuesday. Both sides are island-nations in the Caribbean located from the mainland, so there should be no surprises between them as will both know the terrain, except that Jamaica have slightly more experience on the international stage. Currently, they sit in 76th spot with 463 points, after putting on some disappointing performances in recent times.

Jamaica vs Cuba

Cuba on the other hand find themselves in 110th position after accumulating an overall of 288 points. In recent matches they have managed to make some progress up the table, jumping a total of 4 places. Mobile betting sites however do not believe that can pull off a win against a side that sit above them on the rankings. Their chances of a win are quite slim 9.50 (31/4), with a draw being 4.20 (16/5). A victory for the hosts seem to be the most likely event 1.33 (1/3).

China vs Tunisia and Japan vs Uzbekistan

Tunisia have been paired with China for a friendly encounter set to be played at 12:00 CET on Tuesday. The odds for a tie stand at a high 3.20 (11/5), an event that is also likely.

And finally, Uzbekistan face a difficult task against Japan away on Tuesday. The Land of the Rising Sun were successful in qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil last year where they were put in the same group as Colombia, Greece and Ivory Coast. However, their fortunes at the great competition did not pan out which saw them finish last with only a single point to their name.
