Phase 1, round 5 of the tournament will begin in early March, but some betting favorites have already emerged to win. Leading the betting odds is the consensus number 1 darts player in the world, Michael van Gerwen with odds of 1/2, according to BetVictor. Behind him are Gary Anderson with odds of 9/2, and Peter Wright with odds of 8/1.

Superbike World Championship: Motorcycling

Professional motor cycle racing is one of the most dangerous and exciting sports in the world, but it has yet to really break into the mainstream. There are a few events you may have heard of including the Isle of Man TT, but the World Superbikes Championship is one of the best races you can bet on this year.

  • Tipperary: 6/4
  • Kilkenny: 7/2
  • Galway: 11/2

Now we’re getting really specific. Hurling seems to be one of those sports you’ve heard of, but don’t know anything about. It’s essentially a cross between field hockey and rugby, and has been one of the most popular sports in Ireland for centuries. One of the biggest hurling events of 2017 will begin in May.

14 teams from different Irish cities will compete in this event, and members of BetVictor can already bet on who makes UK gambling news by coming out on top.

Leading the betting lines is Tipperary at 6/4. Behind them is Kilkenny with odds of 7/2. The underdogs begin to surface after that. Waterford may be a good hurling bet with odds of 6/1, and if you’re feeling really lucky, consider going with Offaly, who’s odds are currently set at 500/1.
