Online bingo in Italy is reported to be growing steadily. The research company predicts that by 2013 the world’s bingo market will reach $2.7 billion. Back in 2009 Italy has seen the start of online bingo offerings from operators including Microgame, Gioco Digitale, Lottomatica and Sisal.

By the end of 2009 Italian bingo jackpot allocation criteria (from 58% to 70%) and taxation levels (under 11%) were changed. In 2010 Italian bingo margin reached the level of $26.6 million.

Online casino games have only become available in Italy in the recent weeks. Online casinos have the best potential for growth on a worldwide level. The company expects online casinos’ gross margin to amount to around $8 billion in 2012, which would be a 13.5 increase from 2011.

Online casinos usually consist of a wide selection of game titles such as roulette, blackjack, online slots, scratch cards and much more. Payouts are fixed between 95% and 99%. These may vary considerable from game type to game type.
