  • Jack Wilshere left West Ham this October on mutual consent
  • He can join any club as a free agent now
  • MLS clubs and Rangers are the top favorites to sign him

Jack Wilshere has been one of the most promising English players, but sadly he suffered from several injuries in the last few years. Since 2018 he was a player of  West Ham United until this October when he became a free agent. In the Jack Wilshere transfer odds other PL clubs are mentioned along with his move to the US.

The 28-year-old midfielder started his football career at Arsenal where he was playing first at the club’s youth academy. Then he made his first-team debut in 2008, at the age of only 16. He became Arsenal’s youngest league debutant. After Wilshere spent 10 years at the Gunners and won the FA Cup twice with the team. He was voted Young Player of the Year in the 2010-11 season and the Player of the Season at the club. But in spite of his superb start and great skills, Wilshere could never really live up to the expectations. Mostly due to his injuries which forced him to miss out football for long periods. After 197 appearances for the club he left Arsenal and joined West Ham United. But he wasn’t a regular at the Hammers either which led him to leave the club by mutual consent.

Online sportsbooks in the UK offer the smallest odds, 2.25 for Wilshere’s next club to be any MLS club. The American Major League Soccer is getting more popular within top players, and many of them have already chosen to play there. Like Gonzalo Higuain who joined Inter Miami this season, just like Javier Hernandez who is playing for LA Galaxy. But David Beckham, Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic also played in the US just to mention a few big names. So it can be a great opportunity for Wilshere as well, to prove himself in a more relaxed atmosphere with less attention and far from critical voices.

But at the age of 28 it might be a bit too early for him to move to the US. Actually Wilshere might still prefer to play in Britain. So another possible option can be Rangers which has the odds of 4.00 in the Jack Wilshere transfer odds.  There he could join former Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard with whom Wilshere played together at the English team. He could be a great asset for the team which is trying to win the Scottish Premiership again after 2010. The attacking style of Rangers can also attract Wilshere who didn’t enjoy his defensive role at West Ham.

Premier League clubs are also an option

Of course, probably staying in the Premier League would be the best option for the player. The name of Aston Villa has come up by online gambling sites in the UK as a possible new club. The team is in great form, currently in 6th place at the league. They’ve signed a few players in the last transfer window, but Wilshere can still join them or any other club as a free agent. Not sure though how much clubs are trusting the midfielder now after so many injuries and lack of playing. Still, surely Aston Villa could use a talented player like Wilshere in the midfield who could strengthen their squad. Their odds to be his next club is 5.00 on 1xBet.

While even his former club, Arsenal are mentioned but with much less chance. Truly, it’s very unlikely that Wilshere would rejoin his former club only after 2 years of leaving them. And probably he wouldn’t meet the level of the club now, with several new players joining the club.
