Japan Casino Gambling Legalized

The parliament of Japan has voted in favor of the bill that legalizes Integrated Casino Resorts in the country.

Supported by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe , the Japan casino bill was approved by the parliament on Thursday. The new Japanese gambling law legalizes Integrated Casino Resorts in the country, but players have to wait at least until 2022, since the government has to draft a framework and additional legislation. The resorts are expected to be built in Hokkaido, Sasebo, and Yokohama as well as on an island named Yumeshima. The list of possible investors includes Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts.
