It is not quite easy to make a case against Lewis Hamilton following his 7th win this season. However, Ferrari youngster Charles Leclerc is hopeful he can edge out Hamilton and win his first race. The 2019 F1 German Grand Prix winner predictions suggest Leclerc might do it in Hockenheimring.

The 11th round of the world championship is coming to Germany. The race is taking place in Hockenheim circuit between July 26 – 28. We expect the race to bring the drama and the headlines as the championship fight heats up. However, Mercedes drivers Hamilton and Bottas are still favoured by the online sportsbooks in Germany to win the first and second positions.

One of the few leading contenders who might surprise us at the German GP is the 21-year-old Charles Leclerc. After only one year and a half in F1, he is very close to win his first race, according to the 2019 F1 German Grand Prix winner predictions.

Leclerc will soon become Ferrari’s top driver

Ferrari have largely counted on the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel to deliver the first victory this year. However, it seems the youngster Charles Leclerc has been the better driver on merit. Online sportsbook news in Germany reported that the German GP is the golden opportunity for Leclerc to win his first F1 race ever. In addition it is the great place to best his teammate Vettel.

Leclerc finished second in Austria. He also finished third in all of Britain, France, Canada, and Bahrain. The Monacan driver has rightly climbed to fifth place in the overall standings, with just three points behind his teammate Vettel. At the odds list Leclerc is placed third by Bwin Sports with 9.00 to win the German GP. When making your 2019 F1 German Grand Prix winner predictions and betting, Leclerc is a very exciting choice. He has everything to prove. He has also been gaining lots of confidence lately and very good results.

Bottas yet to bounce back from the second best

The flying Finn Valtteri Bottas remains second in the points standings, with 39 points behind championship leader Hamilton. He has won two races in 2019, but he slowed down since last May and failed yet to bounce back.

At the British GP he had to settle for the second best once again when the Safety Car came out in the wrong moment. Bottas is a hard working driver with a fair value of  3.50 to make a comeback at the German GP. It all depends on Bottas breaking the curse of the second best.

Hamilton won four times at the German GP

Regardless of the host country, the circuit, Lewis Hamilton remains the favourite at every race including the German GP with 1.65 odds. Following his sixth Silverstone win, Hamilton extended his title lead to 39 points. He is on course to win his sixth drivers’ crown.

The British champ made history this July, becoming the first driver to win the iconic British GP six times. He also reached his 80th race win overall. Hamilton looks forward to be impressive in Germany where he won four times, with three of those victories coming at Hockenheim. It is hard to bet against Hamilton at any race, but Leclerc might make a surprise like Verstappen did in Austria.
