The future stars of the NASCAR Cup Series have been racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series which also starts this weekend at Daytona. The Daytona 300 race is one of the most prestigious events of the season, held before the legendary Daytona 500 race. For several years, Cup Series drivers also took part in the race, but now their participation in the smaller cup has been limited. Chase Elliott was the last driver in 2016 who won the Daytona 300 race as a Cup series driver. While last year Team Penske driver Austin Cindric got the win. In the new season, he will also race in the Cup Series though, replacing Brad Keselowski in the No2 car. But we can still find lots of great drivers in the Xfinity Series field from last year’s champion, Daniel Hemric to the 2020 race winner Noah Gragson.

NASCAR Daytona 300 Winner Odds Favor Allmendinger

AJ Allmendinger is one of the most experienced drivers in the Xfinity Series after racing several seasons in the Cup Series. He became a full-time driver at Kaulig Racing last season when he finished fourth in the Xfinity Series. Allmendinger was fifth and second in Daytona in 2021 but was close to winning on other occasions too. No wonder that online sportsbooks in Canada offer the smallest odds, 8.50 for his victory now. Especially as his team has been unstoppable at this course since 2019.

One of Allmendinger’s biggest rivals can be the 2021 series champion, Daniel Hemric who has the odds of 9.50 to win the race in the  NASCAR Daytona 300 winner odds. The 31-year-old driver also joined Kaulig Racing in the new season after winning the 2021 championship with Joe Gibbs Racing. Hemric finished 9th in this race last year but can get a much better result now. Just like Justin Allgaier who was only 29th here in the previous season. The JR Motorsports driver finished fifth in last year’s championship with two wins and 9 podium finishes. Allgaier was the runner-up in Daytona in 2019 and has the odds of 10.00 to win it now.

Gragson, Burton, and Cassill can also get the victory

Noah Gragson got the best result of his career finishing third in the 2021 Xfinity Series. He got three wins last year and five podium finishes but finished only 32nd in Daytona. The 23-year-old did win this race though two years ago, in 2020, and will aim for a similar result this time. Online gambling sites in Canada offer him the odds of 11.00 to do so. Interestingly Gragson will drive for JR Motorsports in this series. But he also signed for Beard Motorsports and Kaulig Racing to drive for them part-time in the Cup Series.

Jeb Burton is a driver with good results in Daytona after finishing fourth at this course on three occasions. The 29-year-old was 10th in the championship last season but he will drive for a new team, Our Motorsports now after leaving Kaulig Racing. Based on his previous track record, he can still get a good result here. With the odds of 15.00 on 22Bet to finish on top. Landon Cassil has just joined Kaulig Racing to drive along with Allmendinger and Hemric. The 32-year-old has also spent a few seasons in the Cup Series but returned to the Xfinity Series full-time last year. He hasn’t got any win yet but finished in the top ten 14 times. This might be his season to get the best results of his career starting in Daytona.
