NYX Gaming Joins with Microgame to Enter Italian Market

NYX Gaming have finally burst into the Italian gambling market, after joining forces with major Italian gambling services provider Microgame. The move could see the development of an online casino in Italy, although there are some potential hurdles left to cross, not least the government’s stance on online gambling.

While Italian gambling laws do allow online casinos, the countries parliament decided to ban gambling for 12 months, recently, a decision that was blocked by the EU and has apparently not come into force. Indeed, there has even been the launch of a new slot game suite from lottery and sportsbook Sisal.

As such, NYX Gaming – most famous for their Next Gen brand of casino games – will be hoping to tap into a potentially profitable Italian market, despite the recent problems that have beset the industry thanks to the meddling politicians. With the rise of mobile casinos, this move has come at the perfect time for the developer.
