Pamela Anderson is back in the gambling business appearing as a star of a Texas Hold’em application.

The new app – BamPoker is designed for Facebook and is operated in full compliance with Canadian gambling laws. It will feature players compete against Pam Anderson to win virtual chips and experience points to advance to more difficult tables and play against other celebrities and big poker names.

The application was created for social media and eventually for online casinos in Canada by Elton Pereira and Jeremy Nichele. The creators aimed for the app to offer superior levels of personalization, and thought of no one better than Pam. She would be playing Facebook poker, maintains a fan page and chat with registered members of BamPoker.

Jeremy Nichele, told Canada gambling news: “We are committed to providing a fun, social and interactive gaming experience through quality game design. BamPoker encourages active user engagement and strong community spirit, something we feel has been missing from the online poker world.”

Pamela Anderson also commented the news: “When I first met Elton and Jeremy, I knew they were on to something special. They weren’t interested in creating just another game, they wanted to take the social elements of online poker in a bold new direction. There is nothing like BamPoker out there today, and I am excited to be a part of such an innovative platform!”

Previously, Pam has already been involved in gambling business, when back in 2006 she was the face of PamelaPoker, an online poker room operation just over four months until going down. The poker site was later consumed by Doyle Brunson. Industry experts blame the advent of UIGEA just one month before the site’s launch, for Pamela’s failure.
