  • Polish Cup final is on 24th of July in Lublin
  • 4 teams are left who will meet next week in the semi-finals
  • Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznan are the favorites
4 teams are left in the 2019-20 Polish Football Cup who will meet in the semi-finals next week, while the final will take place on the 24th of July in Lublin. According to the Polish Cup winner odds league leader Legia Warsaw are the favorite but their big rival, Lech Poznan have similar odds to get the trophy.  68 teams started the competition of the Polish Cup last August including all the teams from the first three divisions. Only four teams are left now, with no big surprise as all of them are top league teams. Lechia Gdansk are the defending champions who are still in the competition and can defend their title. But they won’t have an easy job to do so, as they will meet Lech Poznan in the semi-final. The winner of the Cup also qualifies for the Europa League qualifying round, which might be an extra motivation for the teams.

Polish Cup winner odds predict Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznan into the final

Online sportsbooks in Poland are giving the smallest odds for the victory of Legia Warsaw with the odds of 2.25 at 1xBet Sportsbook. The team has already won the Cup title a record 19 times beside their 13 Championship victories. They are playing confidently this season after leading the Polish league 11 points ahead of Piast Gliwice and Lech Poznan with four rounds still to go. After finishing 2nd place last season, the team also took part in the Europa League this season. They got to the play-off after three victories. But Glasgow Rangers knocked them out there with a very narrow, one goal margin.

The league is on!
In the cup they played all their games in the opponents’ home and they will visit Cracovia as well in the semi-final. But so far it didn’t affect Warsaw too much, with winning all their games in the normal 90 minutes without any extra time. With the goals of Guinean Jose Kante, new signing Serbian Filip Mladenovic and the lead of coach Aleksandar Vukovic the team is top favorite in the Polish Cup winner odds.

Chances of Lech Poznan and the other teams

Lech Poznan was given similar odds, 2.70 by online gambling sites in Poland to win the cup. They will host last year’s cup winners, Lechia Gdansk in the other semi-final next Wednesday. Poznan won the Polish league 7 times, last time in 2015. While they also got 5 Polish Cup trophies, most of them in the 1980s. Last year they got only to the last 32 but this year they have a big chance to win it. As the team is doing fine in the league as well, they are currently in 3rd place, level on points with Piast Gliwice. In the Cup they were even more convincing than Warsaw, winning all of their away games confidently.  Their opponents, Lechia Gdansk, are not having that fabolous season but still got to the semi-finals in the Cup. Their odds to actually win the tournament is only 7.00 at 1xBet Sportsbook. While the 4th team, Cracovia is the oldest Polish club with less success in modern times. They returned back to the top division in 2013 and finished 4th last season. Currently they are in 6th place in the league, their odds to get their first Cup trophy is 6.00 on 1xBet.
