Huddersfield need some changes in the front line
The Terriers are currently at the bottom of the table with 10 points only, and they’ve only managed to find their opponents’ net 13 times in 21 games. The saddest thing is that the player who’s scored the most goals for Huddersfield is Zanka, their centre back. In the first 20 rounds none of their forwards managed to score, Steve Mounie broke this awful run by beating Burnley’s keeper earlier this week.
However, their manager, David Wagner is expected to leave the club if their tragic form continues, while it seems like they’ll manage to sign Jason Puncheon from Crystal Palace. Online sportsbook sites in the UK are almost certain in Huddersfield scoring the least goals this season – their odds are 1/3 – although some of these changes could easily turn things around.
Newcastle are in big trouble
The Geordies have seen better times at St. James’ Park. They’re playing in the 7th largest stadium in England, the fans are turning up week by week, but the team doesn’t seem to perform the way they should. They’ve got a lot of issues on and off the pitch and the lack of goals doesn’t help their situation.
Their only hope is Salomon Rondon, who’s on loan from West Brom, and scored 6 goals this season, which is acceptable. Besides him there’s no player at the club who’s scored more than 2. They’ll have to invest in new players, but the board is not expected to back their manager with any signings. We believe that the Magpies are in big trouble and it could be wise to bet on them until the odds are still 5/1.
Other clubs that are likely to become the lowest scoring PL team
If you’re about to bet on the lowest scoring PL team, you should also keep an eye on Fulham. Although their biggest problem is probably that they’ve conceded the most goals so far this season, they’re also unconvincing when it comes to attacks. Their odds are 20/1 at Betvictor Sportsbook.
Cardiff City are having hard times as well (14/1) as they’ve found themselves in the middle of a difficult relegation battle, but they’ve only scored 19 goals so far. It’s a long season, but we believe that either the forwards of Huddersfield or Newcastle will have the most shameful spring.
