Online gambling enters cloud-based era thanks to a revolutionary service from an Irish software designer.

A Dublin-based gaming software company Mobile Stakes, operating in full compliance with Irish gambling laws, announced what it claims to be the world’s first cloud-based streaming platform for online gambling industry. The company was initially backed by YouWeb online incubator, created by Peter Relan.

The company already signed a deal with renowned gaming operator 7Red, which operates one of the best online casinos in Ireland. 7Red pledged to deliver all its gaming content to iPads and smartphones via the Mobile Stakes platform.

The revolutionary cloud platform allows online casinos to deliver the popular flash online casino and sports betting offerings directly to mobile gadgets of members. No re-design or additional programming is required in order for online content to reach gamers via mobile platforms.

The Mobile Stakes spokesperson told Ireland gambling news: "Using the Mobile Stakes platform, online casino operators can offer their customers a mobile version of all their popular games with the exact same gameplay, payouts, security and identity protection offered by the online casino."

He went on to add: "In addition, mobile players get the same signing bonuses, monthly promotions and offers they'd get on the online site."

CEO of 7Red, Ido Raviv, had the following comments: "Without the Mobile Stakes platform, our portfolio of 75 games ranging from blackjack, roulette, video poker and soft games simply could not be brought to the iPad in a short time and with no re-development in HTML5 or native code."

The new platform is also compatible with online and Facebook-based social gaming offerings, which currently do not include real money gambling opportunities.
