Gambling is a booming business all over the world, be it through legal terms or done illegally. This is as undeniable as the fact that the country’s that permit all forms of gambling prosper greatly through doing so and regulating the business that comes out of it. 

At this point, many nations have turned to gambling as an extra source of revenue, and done well with it. The United States is well on its way to explicitly legalizing gambling on a national basis as more state legislature consider the matter on a monthly basis. In some cases, the gambling industry has become one of the most heated debates in politics. 

Though this may be the case and the joy of gambling is spreading like rapid-fire throughout the world, there are a few places that have yet to embrace this innocent, exciting and beneficial pastime. One such nation is Yemen. 

According to estimates, the gambling industry is bound to blossom into an annual $30 billion dollar industry by 2012! One of the only regions in the world that doesn’t offer gambling is the Middle East.  

Gambling centers are spreading all over the world and the perfect example can be seen in China, where the independent region of Macau has outdone even the world famous Las Vegas in gambling revenue. Where a casino to open in Yemen for nationals and the citizens of neighboring nations, they would undoubtedly make a fortune that would give the country a real financial boost. 

Yemeni gambling law forbids gambling as it is based on Islamic Law. Though this may be the case, plenty of Yemeni law abiders would be more than happy to spend some time at a quality gambling center. Such institutions also offer great job opportunities as well as the work that needs to go into building them.  

Though gambling may be considered illegal, it is still possible through internet gambling in Yemen. Those who are adamant in their desires to gamble due so either dangerously on the black market, or they venture to play at online casinos in Yemen. In the event that gambling were to be legalized the nation would rake in record profits, and possibly reduce some of what’s happening in the black market.
