One of the great things about gambling online at sites like Unibet is that the environment, unlike that of betting shop, casino or race track is entirely within your control and purview. Whether at home on your PC or on the move you can choose what accompanies your gaming experience and because many will choose to listen to some tunes as they pick their winners here is our list of the seven best gambling songs.

7. Easy Money - Billy Joel

Despite being, somewhat embarrassingly, the theme tune to a Rodney Dangerfield comedy with Joe Pesci back in 1983, this funky little song doesn't deserve to be left our of top seven best gambling songs if only because it contains the line “run me like the numbers, roll me like the dice” and what more could someone taking advantage of UK gambling laws on Unibet ask for in a song? The movie, of the same name, gets a rather generous 6.3 on IMDB although that's probably just Pesci fans right?

6. Tumbling Dice – The Rolling Stones

You couldn't have a list of the best gambling songs without this classic of rock 'n' roll from the masters themselves, the Rolling Stones. With the immortal “I'm all sixes and sevens and nines” line sung by those fabulous backing singers Mick Jaggers voice is perfect for this lament of love and loss, and provides some great emphasis on a track you can't quite help singing along to. If you're sat at home on some gambling website like Unibet you'll not go wrong sticking on this superb example of the genre.

5. Kentucky Gambler – Merle Haggard

There are a fair few songs in this list of the seven best gambling songs that paint a picture but none of them quite present and almost operatic landscape of a man who is, to his credit lucky at gambling and then finds his life inexplicably falling apart as lady luck deserts him as “Reno's dreams fade into neon amber” and “I played until I lost all I'd won” (know that feeling?) so if you're putting a wager or two on at Unibet and fancy the atmosphere of smokey saloons and crumby casinos, this is perfect fodder.

4. The Angel & The Gambler – Iron Maiden

“Do you feel lucky?” No, it's not Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry but Iron Maiden with this blitz of hard rock blasting through “A roll of the dice” for those “Ahead of the game again” but whilst there's a “Gate open to heaven” “You have been warned”. There's a time and place for metal and it could be that sat on Unibet you could well feel the need to bang that head as you're betting on sports in the UK for instance, and this does the job perfectly and hence makes our list of the seven best gambling songs.

3. Viva Las Vegas – Elvis Presley

What list of the best gambling songs would be complete with this, perhaps the most famous song about a city after “New York New York”, with the melodic tones of Elvis Presley still at an age where he didn't resemble the fakes that haunt casino lobbies. Of course the real Elvis starred in the 1964 movie of the same name alongside the attractive features of Ann-Margret, and the film and song itself makes play of the city's many attractions so if you're hitting up Unibet and want that taste of Vegas, play this.

2. The Gambler – Kenny Rogers

Needing little introduction this tune explains it all. From the outright fact that “You've got to know when to hold 'em, Know when to fold 'em, Know when to walk away, Know when to run” to the eternal wisdom that is “You never count your money, When you're sittin' at the table, There'll be time enough for countin', When the dealin's done.” it has it all. If you're playing on Unibet this is the perfect backing track for those games of cards when things are getting tense and you need a reminder of the rules.

1. Ace Of Spades – Motorhead

“If you like to gamble” this is probably the tune for you. From the opening chords to the bitter end this wild ride in which you'll find “Snake eyes watching you” the whole way. With Lemmy and the lads hammering away there's no way you can't find your spirits lifted as you do your gambling online at sites like Unibet and whilst you might not make the UK gambling news headlines with your winnings Motorhead are definitely the headline act in our list of the best gambling songs for the masterpiece that is Ace of Spades.
