The 2021 Chicago Fall Tennis Classic is a WTA 500 event taking place this week, 27 September – 3 October. Elina Svitoina is the top seed but we can find several top names in the field. From the Olympic champion Belinda Bencic to the 2019 US Open winner Bianca Andreescu.  The Canadian is favored to get the trophy in the 2021 WTA Chicago winner odds in spite of dropping out of the top 10.

The inaugural edition of the Chicago Fall Tennis Classic is held this week which replaces the canceled Wuhan Open. It is a WTA 500 event played on outdoor hard courts, involving eight top 20 players. Including world No4 Elina Svitolina who is the top seed of the event. Former Grand Slam winners like Garbine Muguruza and Victoria Azarenka. Besides top-form players as Anett Kontaveit and Ons Jabeur. The top eight seed will join the tournament in the second round but fans can already watch great games in the first round. Like the match between former world No1 Kim Clijsters and Taiwanese Hsieh Su-Wei.  The four-time Grand Slam winner Belgian will play only her fourth match since her return last year. The 38-year-old Clijsters retired in 2012 but was inspired to come back last year.

Andreescu Lead the 2021 WTA Chicago Winner Odds Ahead of Top Seed Svitolina

Bianca Andreescu is only the eighth seed of the tournament but online sportsbooks in Canada still offer the smallest odds, 6.85 for her victory. The former US Open winner reached the fourth round this time but was beaten by Maria Sakkari there. Her best result so far in 2021 has been reaching the final of the Miami Open in March. It was her third WTA 1000 final but unfortunately, she had to withdraw during the match. Now the 21-year-old Canadian will aim again for the victory on her favorite surface. But she won’t have an easy task. As she can meet American Shelby Rogers next who defeated world No1 Ashleigh Barty in New York.

Then Anett Kontaveit can wait for Andreescu who won the Ostrava Open last weekend. The Estonian defeated Belinda Bencic, Petra Kvitova, and Maria Sakkari on her route. She is in top form after getting her second win this season. Her odds to continue in the same style are 9.70 on 22Bet.  Elina Svitolina is the top seed of the event after winning the previous WTA 250 event in Chicago this August. World No4 also won the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics and got to the quarter-final in the 2021 US Open. She lost there against Leylah Fernandez but Svitolina seems to be in good form too. Her odds to win her 17th WTA Tour victory are 9.00 in the 2021 WTA Chicago winner odds.

Muguruza, Azarenka and Bencic Can Also Get The Win

We can also find Garbine Muguruza in the field who is the second seed of the tournament. The Spanish player won the Dubai Championship in March but was suffering from injuries after. She did reach the fourth round in the US Open and returned to the top 10 in the world ranking. Muguruza will start against the winner of the Donna Vekic vs Ann Li tie and will be the favorite to go through. Her odds to win the tournament are 10.00. Even though another Grand Slam winner, Victoria Azarenka can wait for her in the third round. The Belarusian is currently world No32 but reached the semi-finals in two tournaments this year.

Online gambling sites in Canada also mention in the favorites the Olympic champion Belinda Bencic with the odds of 11.00. The Swiss player also got to the quarter-final of this year’s US Open and made her top 5 debuts in the world rankings. Currently, she is in 12th place but also the third seed here. Bencic is on an easier path and she can only meet a difficult opponent, Elena Rybakina in the quarter-final. Which would be also a rematch of their last meeting in the Tokyo Olympics semi-final. If the Kazakh player can take revenge, she can also aim for her third WTA Tour victory with the odds of 10.50 to get it.
