Monaco is still one of the most iconic locations in the Formula 1 season with all its glamour and exclusivity. It has been part of the calendar since 1950 with only a few years without a race. Winning in Monaco has a special meaning with all drivers hoping to achieve it once. Legendary Ayrton Senna won here the most times, on six occasions. While Graham Hill and Michael Schumacher also had five victories in Monaco. Of current drivers, Lewis Hamilton won here three times, while Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel also got two wins here. But now the best drivers of the young generation have the biggest chance of winning. From local favorite Charles Leclerc to the reigning champion, Max Verstappen.

2022 F1 Monaco GP Winner Odds Mention Championship Leaders as Favorites

Charles Leclerc was born in Monaco and knows the circuit by heart after driving there day by day as a resident of the microstate. The Ferrari driver started the season well after winning in Bahrain and in Australia. But he couldn’t finish the last race in Spain due to a technical error. It also meant that he was overtaken by Max Verstappen in the championship. Now he is in second place, six points behind the Dutch. Leclerc can take back the lead or at least get closer with a win on home soil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RS8lOadJGM The 2022 F1 Monaco GP winner odds favor the local favorite, Charles Leclerc to win his third race of the season ahead of Verstappen favor him to do so and offer the smallest odds, 2.06 for his victory.  Even though the Monegasque hasn’t been too lucky at this race so far. He couldn’t even finish a race here. Unlike his main rival, Verstappen who won last year’s event. He also finished twice in the top 5 but surely he will aim for another win now. The 2021 champion is in top form again after winning four races out of six so far. He and Red Bull seem like a winning combination. But even Verstappen had to withdraw from the Australian race following a mechanical issue. The 2022 F1 Monaco GP winner odds mention him closely behind Leclerc in the top favorites and offer the odds of 2.30 for his win. Qualifying can be crucial in Monaco so whoever will win on Saturday, will have a big advantage over the rest of the field.

Other Drivers With a Chance of Winning

Mercedes had a great revival in Barcelona last weekend after George Russell finished in third place. While Lewis Hamilton also had a chance of finishing ahead of Carlos Sainz Jr. but had to settle for fifth place at the end. Still, it was the first race where the world champion team seemed to have some pace. And a chance of fighting with the two top teams of this season, Red Bull and Ferrari. Now online gambling sites in Monaco offer the odds of 17.00 for the victory of both Russell and Hamilton. Probably both of them would need some extra help to achieve that. Like rainy weather on Sunday or some technical issues with their rivals’ cars.  The second-line drivers of Ferrari and Red Bull, Sainz and Sergio Perez have the same odds for their win on 22Bet. Sainz is only in fifth place after his two retirements in the season. The Spanish driver is close to Leclerc but makes more mistakes costing him points in the races. He is still waiting for his first F1 win. But he might get it in Monaco where he was the runner-up last year. Perez is in a similar position at Red Bull, as his main role seems to be to support his teammate to defend his championship title. He is in third place in the championship, 25 points behind Verstappen. The Mexican finished three times as a runner-up this year but surely wants to win now.  Like he did in Azerbaijan last year which was his second F1 victory.
