One of the earliest programs in the 2022 Winter Olympics will be the women's and men's individual normal hill ski jumping events. They are held this weekend, on the 5th and 6th of February at the Snow Ruyi in Zhangijakou. Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi and Sara Takanashi are the biggest favorites in the 2022 Olympic ski jumping odds. But several other top jumpers can also fight for the gold in Beijing.

For the first time in the history of the Winter Olympics, there will be five ski jumping competitions in the Olympic program after the debut of the new mixed team event. The spectacular sport has been a key element though since the first Winter Games in 1924. And after some setback, he is back in form and stands second in the overall standings this season. But in the big events Kobayashi hasn't got any win yet. Actually his only medal is a bronze from the 2019 World Championships in the team event.
