After last week’s dramatic race in Bahrain, the 2020 Formula 1 season will end in Abu Dhabi this weekend. With still no Lewis Hamilton, the race is open and we might see a new winner again. In the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix odds Bottas and Verstappen are still head-to-head, but let’s see the odds for the others.

After last week’s dramatic race in Bahrain, the 2020 Formula 1 season will end in Abu Dhabi this weekend. With still no Lewis Hamilton, the race is open and we might see a new winner again. In the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix odds Bottas and Verstappen are still head-to-head. But let’s see the odds for the others.  Racing Point driver Sergio Perez got his first race victory last week after winning the chaotic race in Bahrain. The Mexican driver managed to climb back to the first place from the back of the field following his collision at the start. Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc were not that lucky and had to retire in the first lap. While the Mercedes team committed an unusual mistake at the pit stops and destroyed George Russell’s chances for a podium. But he might have another opportunity to win in the next race in Abu Dhabi. As Lewis Hamilton is likely to miss the season finale as well.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix odds mention the same trio again as favorites

Online sportsbooks in Finland predict a better race for Valteri Bottas this time and offer the smallest odds, 2.75 for his victory. He would really need a great result at the end of the season after a disappointing race last weekend. As the Finnish pilot was overtaken right at the start by his teammate, George Russell who was replacing Hamilton in Bahrain. Bottas couldn’t keep up with the young Brit and he was overtaken by him again after the fatal pit stop. At the end he finished only in 8th place after struggling with his old tires. So he and the team have to concentrate more in the last race to get the victory.

Let's race!
Max Versappen had an even worse race in Bahrain after colliding with Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in the first lap. The Red Bull driver missed a huge opportunity to get a win in the absence of Lewis Hamilton. But he might have another chance now. Verstappen is still fighting for second place in the world championship with Bottas. But after scoring no points last time he would really need a win to work off his 16-point deficit. He finished second last year in the Yas Marina circuit. Now he has the odds of 2.87 to win in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix odds.

Russell might get a second chance for winning

At the moment we still don’t know if Lewis Hamilton can return to the last race in case he tests negative. He would need authorization from two governments which might be a long process. So his replacement, George Russell may have another chance to finish on the podium or even winning his first ever F1 race in Abu Dhabi. The Williams driver was superb in Bahrain and would have truly deserved the win but it wasn’t meant to be. We shall see how he can get over with his bad luck and the team’s error. If he can, Russell is in the main favorites to win with the odds of 3.00 by online gambling sites in Finland.  While Sergio Perez had the most memorable race of his career last weekend after winning his first Formula 1 Grand Prix. He needed a bit of luck to achieve it, but he was also driving brilliantly during the whole race. It is not very likely that such dramatic events will take place again this weekend, but who knows in this season. Perez can be in the top again and has the odds of 26.00  on bet365 to get another victory.
