If you choose a pass bet (which is a bet for the shooter to win) and the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 as a come-out roll, you win. But if the come-out roll is 2, 3, or 12, the bet loses. If it’s any other number, it becomes the point. The shooter will try to roll the point number again before rolling a 7. If he rolls a 7 before hitting the point (seven out), the bet loses. Meanwhile, the don’t pass bet (a bet for the shooter to lose) wins if the come-out roll is 2 or 3. The bet is a push if the roll-out is 12, while 7 or 11 means losing the bet.
