  • Only one more race to go before the Championship 4
  • Kevin Harvck still leads the championship and favor to win here

NASCAR will head to Texas this weekend where the next race of the Round of 8 will be held. Kevin Harvick still leads the championship ahead of Hamlin and Keselowski while the winner of the previous race, Joey Logano has already secured his place in the Championship  four. In the latest NASCAR Autotrader EchoPark predictions favor Harvick to win in Texas, but his main rivals should also go for the victory.

The next race of the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series is in Fort Worth, Texas at the Texas Motor Speedway and has the long name of Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500. The 34th race of the season is contested over 334 laps on the 1,5 mile oval, starting in the afternoon and ending in the early evening. With only two races left to go after, a victory here can mean a place in the Championship 4. As the winners of any races in the Round of 8 can qualify for the final. Championship leader Harvick is the favorite after winning the last three races on this track. All-time Texas Motor Speedway winner Jimmie Johnson will drive on his last race here and might get a final good result on his favorite track.

NASCAR Autotrader EchoPark predictions favor Harvick to get his 4th win in a row

Kevin Harvick will start from pole position on Sunday and go for his 4th victory in a row at this event. No wonder that online sportsbooks in the US favor him to win the race with the odds of 3.50. What’s more, he seems to be in his best form again after finishing as a runner-up in the previous race at Kansas. He could easily win the race after leading 85 laps but Joey Logano managed to overtake him off pit lane and hold him up until the end. Harvick could be still satisfied with his result as he is 41 points above the cutoff line meaning qualification for the Championship 4.

Let’s race!

Hamlin is still second in the championship, 20 points away from going out. In spite of his disastrous last race where he got into the wall in the last stage and had to make an additional pit stop. At the end he finished only in 15th place. Hamlin can make up for this result in Texas now, where he won once ten years ago, in 2010. Now his odds to win again is 5.50 in the NASCAR Autotrader EchoPark predictions.

The rest of the field and their odds to win

The remaining drivers in the top 8 are still fighting for a place in the final round. Chase Elliott is just under the cutoff line following the victory of Logano. His best result in Texas is a 4th-place finish from 2016 but he must try and get a victory here.  Or at least get as many points as he can to move into the top four. He seems to be in great form as well after winning the first stage in Kansas. Online gambling sites in the US offer the odds of 8.50 for his victory on Sunday.

While his main rival for a place in the top 4, Brad Keselowski has a worse chance of winning with the odds of 11.00 on Intertops. He has three podium finishes from the earlier races in Texas, which can give him some hope for another good result. The 2012 Cup Series champion can qualify for the last four after 2017, while Elliott can reach the Championship 4 for the first time in his career.
